Head coach of Nations FC, Samuel Frimpong Manso, has revealed his ambitions for the ongoing season stating he is very much focused on the FA Cup title more than the league and will urge his lads to put in all efforts to win.
The Sky-Blues haven’t really had the best of seasons compared to the last term but have been very impressive in the league cup having had a stellar run so far to the round of sixteen stage.
The Eagles edged Ebony FC by 2-1 in the first round before topping up with an emphatic 3-0 triumph over high-flying Ashantigold O4 in the round of 32 to reach this stage.
In a recent interview, the experienced tactician says his target mainly is to deliver the FA Cup this season
“I’m not thinking about the league title at the moment. My attention is firmly on the FA Cup. We are in the Round of 16, and that is where my focus lies — trying to win and move forward in the competition,” he noted.
Nations FC are currently in 12th position with 24 points on the league log after twenty matches and will host league leaders Medeama SC in the next round of games on Friday, January 30, 2026.
