The MTN FA Cup Committee Chairman, Wilson Arthur, has unveiled the prize package for this year’s MTN FA Cup winner as the tournament reaches the quarter-final stage.

The competition resumes this weekend, with matches set at the Cape Coast Stadium and Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, as the remaining clubs battle for semi-final berths.

Arthur confirmed that the champions will take home GH¢80,000 in prize money in addition to a GH¢100,000 support fund to aid preparations for continental competition.

“The winner of the MTN FA Cup final will receive GH¢100,000 for Africa preparations, aside from the GH¢80,000 prize money and a share of the final gate proceeds,” Arthur told Asempa FM.

In the upcoming quarter-finals:

  • Aduana FC clash with Techiman Liberty FC on Saturday.

  • Nations FC face Berekum Chelsea FC on Sunday at Cape Coast.

  • Medeama SC take on Attram De Visser Soccer Academy.

  • Dreams FC battle Heart of Lions FC at Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.

The eventual champions will also earn the right to represent Ghana in the CAF Confederation Cup for the 2026/27 season, adding continental stakes to the domestic glory.
