Aduana Stars cross swords with champions Asante Kotoko at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Stadium in the new year- the biggest fixture of match-week 10 of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League.
The Porcupine Warriors bossed the two fixtures last season having accumulated four out of the possible six points, including an important and precious 0-2 win at the same grounds- their very first win in Dormaa after so many attempts.
Definitely a tie that will be worth watching, looking at the expectations surrounding the game, touted the 'top of table' clash as Aduana currently lead the log with 19 points whiles Kotoko follow with 17.
Bibiani Goldstars have tied up with the champions on same points at the moment, reason they will need the victory at all cost to claim top spot and fend off competition from the Miners.
Aduana Stars recovered from a painful defeat at Tamale City to narrowly defeat Great Olympics away from home to launch their return from the break on a higher note and gave a strong statement on why they ain't willing to relinquish their lead anytime soon.
However, Kotoko were given a wake up call by Real Tamale United- who have always been a pain in the neck, in their last game before the World Cup, but redeemed themselves with a comeback 2-1 win over Berekum Chelsea last week.
The Reds also, nearly gave away a two goal lead in the league cup against Bechem United in midweek but managed to edge them out via penalty shootouts to advance into round 32.
