Tamale City commenced the game on a good note with an intense pressure on the back line of Great Olympics with the hopes of getting the opener in the first half but all their efforts went futile.
In the second half, Tamale City exercised their attacking muscles to open the floodgate through Raphael Essien on the 51st minute of the game.
Essien registered his name on the score sheet with a fine strike to hand his side the lead before Great Olympics levelled after the hour-mark mark.
Great Olympics gained possession to dominate the game with Gideon Offei Ofori snatching the equalizer for the visitors on the 62nd minute.
Tamale City secured all the needed points through an audacious strike from Sampson Eduku on the 70th minute of the game.
Tamale City remains in the drop zone despite their impressive performance in the last three games while Great Olympics occupies seventh position with 14 points after ten matches.
