Legon Cities FC and Karela United will kickoff match-week 10 of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season in what promises to be a tricky tie at the El-Wak Stadium on Friday afternoon.
The Royals were really unstoppable in their last league game, where they despatched newbies Kotoku Royals by an emphatic 0-3 at their own grounds to set off an explosive return to the season.
Maxwell Konadu's men haven't been impressive in their last five matches, picking two defeats within and are currently 6th on the league log with 14 points.
They will definitely grind motivation from their hard-fought 1-0 win over Accra Lions in the FA Cup to qualify into the round of 32.
However, Karela United's woes continued after failing to grind maximum points from regional rivals Medeama SC- who held them to a 1-1 stalemate at Anyinase.
They have just a win in their last five league games, and are currently relinquishing on 15th position with 11 points and will have to escape a defeat at all cost or will fall back into the danger zone.
The 'Pride and Passion' outfit took on the same opposition in the league cup and managed a 5-4 on penalties victory over the Mauves and Yellows after another 1-1 draw in regulation time.

On the opposition end, Karela United with the same reason will also miss the service of right back Augustine Randolph who is currently a hot cake on the transfer market.
