King Faisal will be expected to mount some pressure to move to a safe position on the summit as they play hosts to relegation battlers, Tamale City at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.
Two wins, two draws and a defeat in the last five games have seen King Faisal moved to 15th but they will have the perfect opportunity at home this weekend to continue their insurgency and seize all three points when they welcome the Citizens.
Seventeenth placed Tamale City drew 1-1 at home against Asante Kotoko. They do not have the momentum to frustrate Alhaji Grunsah’s Insha Allah boys but they must be mindful of the fact that King Faisal held Hearts of Oak to a draw stalemate in a must win match for the Phobians at the Baba Yara Stadium on Thursday.
Tamale City have been woeful in their debut season, as they would have to do something extraordinary to shock aflame King Faisal in Kumasi.
