The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced that the midweek fixtures for Week 24 of the Ghana Premier League have been confirmed.
The matches will take place on Wednesday, March 29, and Thursday, March 30.
One of the matches scheduled for Wednesday is between Berekum Chelsea and Aduana Stars. Berekum Chelsea, who have had two draws in their last two matches, are in need of a win to boost their chances of finishing in the top four.
Although they lost one game to Medeama SC, Berekum Chelsea won two of their previous three matches and currently have 33 points from 23 games.
This indicates that they are not performing poorly and could potentially win the league.
Meanwhile, Aduana Stars, their opponents for the midweek fixture, are at the top of the Ghana Premier League standings.
However, they have only won one of their last five matches and have suffered two losses and two draws, making it possible for other clubs to catch up with them.
Aduana Stars drew 2-2 with Real Tamale United last weekend amidst controversial circumstances and will need to put in a strong performance to show that they are still contenders for the league title.
