Another Wednesday night football to be witnessed in the Ghana Premier League as Hearts of Oak host regional rivals Accra Lions in a crunchy week 24 tie tonight at the Ohene Gyan Stadium.
The Rainbow Club continued with their dominance on the Blue-Blacks after humbling them by 1-3 in the first leg, thanks to goals from Awako, Ibrahim Salifu and Benjamin Yorke.
The two teams heading into this encounter failed to grind maximum points in their previous matches and will set sights on achieving that this time around to maintain their various spots in the top four.
The 'Phobians' got mauled by 3-0 against Karela United last Saturday in Anyinase in a game Fatawu Mohammed- their own former conjurer was the chief tormentor for the 'Pride and Passion' side.
On the opposition end, the Lions are winless in their last two matches, having got held by Bechem United to a stalemate in their last league fixture to extend their string of poor results.
Despite being without a win in their previous two games, Accra Lions are still occupying the second spot on the league whiles Hearts of Oak are with 35 points on 6th, with just three separating both sides.
