Third round of matches in the Ghana Premier League continues on Friday with one game scheduled to come-off, however, one thing is certain.
The fixture compilers with their quirky sense of humor have sent Tamale City to Accra Sports Stadium to take on Accra Lions, the club who are finding it difficult to adjust into the top-flight, after securing promotion after a 1-1 draw with Ebusua Dwarfs in their playoff game.
Lions can be forgiven for losing against Kotoko Royals in match-day 1. Determined as they are - won 2-1 against stubborn Karela United.
The Griffin’s will be looking for a win against wounded Tamale City tomorrow (Friday), however, but that could be a tough task considering the place the Citizens are lurking at the moment.
Point-less side Tamale City could struggle to get off the mark, having nothing to show for their season so far which doesn't really come as much of a surprise. And at least the Citizens will still have it at the back of their minds that they seriously need to step out of their safe haven and win at the nations wembley as they face a tough away game to third placed Accra Lions.
Expect a high scoring game and may the best team win.
