Medeama SC President, Moses Parker said coach Ignatius Osei-Fosu performed below expectations as he insists that things didn't go as planned.
Ignatius Osei-Fosu was axed after some games in charge of Medeama SC last season.
Coach Rabi Umar took over to finish second with the team in the 2021/22 season.
David Duncan is now steering affairs for the Yellow and Mauves.
Osei-Fosu is currently with Dreams FC, after joining them in the second round of last season.
Dreams FC are third, with six points, after two games in the betPawa Premier League.
Moses Parker said they were forced to fire Ignatius Osei-Fosu because he performed below expectation.
"Yes, for last season, Rabiu, perfect he was good if I would recall, he took over in our second match when we went to Techiman [against Eleven Wonders]. And it was a perfect move, we needed it because things didn't go the way we envisaged," he said on Onua TV.
"I am telling you frankly, I noticed certain things and realized things wouldn't be good so, Rabi came in to move the team to place second position," he added.
Medeama will travel to face Berekum Chelsea this weekend.
