Action continues on Sunday as the third round fixtures of the Ghana Premier comes off with one game that we are looking forward to. Real Tamale United and Legon Cities will be rocking shoulders as they go head-to-head to flip-bounce each other at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
Cities will make the long trip to the Northern Region to face Real Tamale United in what should be an entertaining encounter. The Royals suffered a one nil defeat against Medeama in their opening game of the season and traveled to win one nil away at newly promoted Tamale City last weekend.
Winless, thirteenth placed RTU have failed to record a win in this year’s campaign after two rounds of matches (1 draw and 1 defeat).
RTU failed to beat Cities in this fixture last season, drawing 1-1 and Baba Nuhu’s team will be out for revenge come kick-off.
Legon Cities will be considered huge favourites against a Northern Blue team which looks unsettled under new Boss Baba Nuhu, who were nailed 3-2 by Medeama last weekend in a fiercely contested game.
Playing at home has always been easy for RTU; The Pride of the North needs to ignite that fire on this to get into the winning column. Expect an exciting game and may the best team win.
