The Ghanaian top tier league season thus far has not been deprived of surprises with the top seeded teams atop of the summit wrestling to continuously win matches whilst belittled teams are twirling.

Third placed Bechem United and tenth placed Legon Cities will continue to roll the dice for this weekend’s fixture on Saturday afternoon at the Bechem Park with the remaining games scheduled to come off on Sunday.

Coach Kassim Mingle’s men will be looking to rebound to the winning column with victory over the Royals.

Bechem’s winning run was halted by Medeama in their match week 30 fixture with Mingle revealed in his post-match interview that the ball boys at Akoon Park were the reasons behind his team’s defeat to the Yellow and Mauves.

“They packed all the ball boys in one place and when the ball goes out we have to wait for some time before another ball comes for us to play. This is not football,” Mingle said.

Which means the Hunters will need to pull plugs and plot to destroy Cities as a win could see them leapfrog to the second spot given the outcome of the match between Hearts of Oak and Medeama.

Bechem United have 48 points from 30 matches and are placed 3rd, while Legon Cities are tenth with 40 points from 30 games. Both sides desperately need the win to enhance their serendipity.
