Both aiming to continue their winning streaks, Accra Lions and Bofoakwa Tano clashed at WAFA Park in Saturday's Premier League showdown.
The ‘Yen Nyinaa Dea’ put Medeama to the sword 1-0 by in their outstanding match-week 18 affair last Tuesday, while John Eduafo’s men secured a 2-1 win at home against Karela United.
Still on a one-way path back down to the Division One League, Bofo occupy 16th place in the Premier League standings with a four-point gap to make up to 17th-placed Heart of Lions.
Judging from their current form, scoring isn’t a problem, as Accra Lions own top-flight status is not entirely secure as they languish in 8th place in the table - seven points above the dotted line - and a win or draw for Bechem United against Asante Kotoko on Saturday would push them further down the standings.
