Hoping to replicate first rounds astonishing Dun’s Park slaughter, Nations FC will sit at home as Bibiani Gold Stars head south to square off with them in Saturday's Premier League encounter.
The Abrankese based side will welcome the Miners on the back of a 3-0 pummelling in the hands of Heart of Lions last weekend, while Frimpong Manso’s troops stunned Aduana Stars 1-0 to down the perfect tonic on Sunday.
Helped out by a red card to Richard Danso - who took the walk of shame for a sickening challenge - basement boys’ Heart of Lions put three past the Premier League's title contenders without reply through Mohaison Mahmoud, Akwasi Duah, and Nana Oppong’s stoppage-time goal.
Manso’s charges continue to do their top-four prospects no favours at all, though, as after prevailing in five wins, two draw and two losses in their last nine Ghana Premier League games since last month into this month of April, the Abrankese side have triumphed in four games, recorded three defeats and one draw in their last eight.
