Wounded from their defeat to Medeama, Bofoakwa Tano can momentarily edge closer from climbing out of the relegation zone if they beat Legon Cities at Dawu Park on Saturday afternoon.

The 'Esuo Eyiri Pe Bre' will be seeking revenge against the Royals after they allow them to barbecue their wounds to lose 1-0 in the reverse fixture at the Sunyani Coronation Park in December.

Although Cities have won only seven league matches out of 17 since the turn of the year, they remain on course to preserve their top-flight status as they currently sit 11th in the table and five points clear of the relegation zone.

After winning only three of their four home league matches in the second round in the ongoing season, Bofoakwa have since picked up 11 points in their last four fixtures at Sunyani Coronation Park. The Royals on the other hand have won eleven top-flight games on home soil so far this term and have recorded, exactly, 2-1, 3-1 and 1-0 score line on each occasion.

Bofoakwa have not been at their strongest against Cities from a defensive perspective, though, as they will be out to be at their best and cause an upset in Dawu.

Not only would a victory on Saturday for John Eduafo’s men boost their Premier League survival and ignite their hopes of staying in the top flight , but it would also keep spirits high within the Royals camp as they aim to pin their guests to the wire by dusting them with slew methanols of nerve-cracking goals.
