Hearts of Oak leave relegation zone with a crucial 2-0 win over Nations FC at the Ohene Gyan Stadium in a Friday night football to kickoff Ghana Premier League match-week 32.

Goals from Kassim Cisse and youngster Hamza Issah were enough to hand Hearts of Oak a precious win to return on winning ways.

The 'Phobians' after the defeat to Kotoko last Sunday and having relegation staring at them, approached this game with so much seriousness and determination.

It didn't take long from the blast of the referee's whistle for the homesters to strike first through Ivorian import Kassim Cisse who tapped in at a close range from a Dennis Korsah cross on the 7th minute.

Eight minutes later, Hamza Issah doubled the lead for the hosts after turning beautifully in the box and struck hard at first pole.

Nations FC's first dangerous incursion was on the 22nd minute but Richard Danso had his brilliant effort checked by goalkeeper Kwasi Nketia.

In the second half, both teams resumed on a good note with Nations FC slightly on top this time in a quest to draw themselves back on level.

Despite having series of chances come their way in the second half, there was no goal produced as it finished 2-0 for the Phobians who are back on winning path.

Hearts of Oak after the victory have climbed up to the 11th position with 41 points after 32 matches.

They will host regional rivals Great Olympics in the 'Ga Mantse' derby on June 9, in the next round of matches.
