Heart of Lions will host Bofoakwa Tano at the WAFA Park in Sogakope during match week four of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.
Heart of Lions, fondly known as the "Giant Killers," have yet to secure a victory in the Ghana top flight since their return after an eight-year absence. They are hopeful that their first win will come against fellow returnees, Bofoakwa Tano.
Heart of Lions have drawn all three of their initial matches this season, with goalless draws against Asante Kotoko and Great Olympics, followed by a spirited 2-2 draw against Real Tamale United in the previous weekend.
Bofoakwa Tano, on the other hand, has made a strong comeback to the Ghana Premier League after a 16-year absence and currently holds the top position in the league standings with 7 points from three games. They achieved this by securing consecutive home wins against Hearts of Oak and Real Tamale United, following an opening day goalless draw against Accra Great Olympics.
While Heart of Lions will be eager to secure their first three points of the season, Bofoakwa Tano will aim to achieve a positive result and maintain their top position in the league table.
