Berekum Chelsea are hunting a much-needed return to winning ways in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday as they take on seventh seeded Medeama.

Title talk has faded from Tarkwa quarters with the Yellow and Mauves winless in two league outings. Evans Adotey side have been held by Kotoko and Nsoatreman during their one-all-straight run which has seen them slip to seventh in the table with 26 points.

Match Preview

The Bibires have won just one, drawn two and lost twice in their last five matches which has shot them to the scale of unease coupled with 'neurological football disorder'.

Berekum Chelsea have not enjoyed a superb season so far as they have been plunged by inconsistencies and currently sit 10th in the Premier League table with 19 points.

Medeama on the other hand have been hard done by coaching troubles to kick-off the new year, but coach Adotey's side showed no signs of fading in their last five games as they have recorded two wins, drawn two and lost one.

A maiden top-four berth is within reach after this game, and they'll leapfrog one of the top-four seeded side's with a memorable win at the Golden City Park and against Accra Lions on the January 26.

Berekum Chelsea possible starting lineup (4-2-3-1):
Sekyere (GK), Abaidoo, Acheampong, Afriyie, Amankonah, Ameyaw, Asamoah, Z. Fuseini (C), Awuah, Badori, Seidu

Medeama possible starting lineup (4-2-3-1):
Kyei (G), K. Amoah, Asmah (C), Babil, Boison, Enu, Fordjour, Kumi, Nkrumah, Owusu, Sulemana

We say: Berekum Chelsea 2-0 Medeama

Medeama were last beaten 2-0 on 22nd April at the Golden City Park by the Bibires and mere confidence may have to get them through the upcoming period with their last encounter against the Yellow and Mauves with Hubert Gyau and Mezack Afriyie getting the two goals.

Given their inconsistent woes, you have to project a Yellow and Mauves crash at some point, and a possible downturn could begin in Berekum. Chelsea have been out of sorts since match-day 13, but the breathers offered to many of Samuel Boadu's key names at the weekend should serve the hosts well heading into this fixture.

While Boadu's side deserve some sought of credit his side have put together over the past couple of months, this feels like a get-right game for Chelsea.
