Both side's seeking to rebound after losing their last, respective, matches in the Premier League when Holy Stars host Aduana Stars on Sunday afternoon in a match-day 17 fixture.
After a mini new manager bounce following Aristică Cioabă's arrival, Aduana have reverted to type over the past month.
Match Preview
The Fire Boys have faced some challenging fixtures against the likes of Kotoko, Berekum Chelsea and FC Samartex, but have rarely challenged during disappointing two defeats and one draw.
Abdulai Gazale's side have restored their pride following an underwhelming start to the season and now sit four points above Aduana heading into Sunday's clash. They have lost three, drew two and won four of their last nine outings and Sunday's clash is these two side's first meeting in the Ghanaian top-flight.
Basake Holy Stars possible starting lineup (4-2-3-1):
Aboubakar (GK); Kwame, Asante, Author, Baffour, Boadi (C), Opoku, Oteng, Simba, Tweneboah, Yakubu
Aduana possible starting lineup (3-4-2-1):
Inusah (GK) (C); Addo, Amoako, Amponsah, Boateng, Duah, Marfo, Obeng, Offei, Sackey, Silas
We say: Basake Holy Stars 2-2 Aduana Stars
Holy Stars must make the AAK II Sports Arena in Ampain their fortress during the second half of the campaign having already accumulated the bulk of their points on home soil this term. A visit from Aduana is exactly the sort of fixture they must win - or at the very least not lose.
Aduana have been resurgent over the past one months but have still struggled for victories. They have settled for plenty of draws, with goalscoring and chance creation both longstanding issues. However, with both club's leaky defence - the Ainyinase based side may secure just a point at home.
