Tuba AstroTurf is the venue for the return of Ghana Premier League football after the international break, as Dreams FC and Karela seek to up their numbers in the standings on Sunday late afternoon.

The Still Believe' won 1-0 in their matchday 11 game against Vision FC in Tema Newtown last weekend, while the Pride and Passion were pegged back in a 1-0 loss at home to Hearts of Oak.

Match Preview

There was not a lot to write home about during Dreams FC matchday 11 clash with Vision FC, where the Believers cut toothless figures in the final third and were ultimately lucky to have exited the Adjei Kraku Park with the three maximum points.

Goals have certainly not been at a premium for Dreams FC in the Ghana Premier League since the turn of the season, with only four goals flying in during their 11 top-flight fixtures in the 2024/25 season so far - but a lack of defensive nous is severely hampering the Still Believe' quest to avoid the red zone.

Indeed, Karim Zito’s men have let in four goals in seven of their last Ghana Premier League matches and only have six top-flight clean sheet under their belts in 20224/25 season so far, although that did come in their most recent Nii Adjei Kraku' Park contest, a resounding 1-0 win over Vision.

A bad omen for a Karela side who have gone three top-flight games without a clean sheet.

Amid their rearguard woes, there was no shortage of offensive firepower during the Passioners' 2-0 win in matchday 4 crushing at Legon Cities.

Dreams possible starting lineup:
Aseako (GK); Adjei, Ahiable, Aziz, Boah, Boateng, Danso, Esso (C), Guede, Owusu C, Owusu L

Karela possible starting lineup:
Nasiru (GK); Aboubakar, Asigre, Darkwah, Faruk (C), Gariba, Latif, Mohammed, Muhammed, Nurudeen, Yaya

We say: Dreams 2-1 Karela

Goals on rival territory have been particularly difficult for both Karela and Dreams to come by in recent times.

The international hiatus arrived at an opportune time for a Karela side who appeared rather leggy, and while they may be reeling from Hearts of Oak devastating blow, we have faith in Zito’s men to return hang on to their triumphant ways and intensify their knack for scoring at their own Tuba AstroTurf.
