Ghana Premier League finally resumes after over a month break with Hearts of Oak welcoming Young Apostles FC to the University of Ghana Stadium in what will be an epic clash tonight.

After what was a very exciting first leg fixture, both teams will head into this encounter with so much dedication and nothing but a winning set and it's either a repeat or a revenge.

MATCH PREVIEW

Hearts of Oak's second win of the season came against the Blue-Yellows in Wenchi in week six and that somehow their season and got them back on track and will be looking forward to pulling similar performance today.

After a goalless first half, Emmanuel Amankwah opened the scoring account in the 51st minute for the Phobians. A puskas-like goal from Samuel Prempeh leveled the score in the 85th minute but the Hamza Issah scored again just two minutes later to restore the lead and handed all three points.

Young Apostles however, are unbeaten in their last four matches boasting of three victories and a draw and are looking forward to maintaining the same momentum as the championship resumes. 

After a vital 1-0 home win over Nsoatreman FC, the 'Agya Na )w) Tumi' outfit serged on with another important 1-2 away win at Nations FC in what was a very difficult task to fulfill in Abrankese.

Young Apostles are also out of the league cup after a narrow 1-0 defeat away at Karela United.

Hearts of Oak are currently occupying the fourth spot in the table with 33 points while Young Apostles sit in tenth with 24 points. 

TEAM NEWS

The 'Phobians' have a full strength squad heading into this game minus Salim Adams who has few months left and Saani Mohammed - who has left to join Danish side AC Horsens.

Coach Aboubakar Ouattara will miss the service of influential midfielder Theophilus Collinson who got red carded last week.

On the opposition side, coach Rahim Bashiru hasn't expressed any injury or suspension concerns yet and is definitely looking forward to beating his former club today.
