Asante Kotoko return to competitive action for the first time in a while this weekend and head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum says they are ever ready for their game against Legon Cities FC.

The Porcupine Warriors suffered a painful 1-0 loss to Nsoatreman FC in their last game and has since not made any competitive appearance.

In the FA Cup action, they were off as their game against Sekondi Eleven Wise has been rescheduled to Wednesday, March 12, with the winner to take on True Democracy FC in the quarter final.

Speaking in a pre-match presser, the enterprising gaffer is seeking nothing but a revenge against Legon Cities - whom they lost to in the first leg and added they are very strong now and determined to win.

“We are going into the game with a very confident and determined approach because they were the very first team that defeated us in the first round, and after that, we lost three more games. Tactically, we have done a lot to make sure that on Sunday, we play strongly and very aggressively to make sure we get the three points. Physically, we are in good shape and tactically, we are in good shape, so we are ready,” coach Prosper Narteh Ogum said in an interview with Asante Kotoko TV on YouTube.

The game is slated for 15:00GMT on Sunday, March 9, at the Baba Yara Stadium.
