Vision FC earned a crucial one point in the ongoing Premier League relegation fight with a 1-1 draw against Young Apostles at Wenchi Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The home team managed to assert their dominance in a rather blazing opening half, although the Ewoo Boys did enjoy marginally more success in the final third with a flurry of chances around the 79th minute that saw them pull off the leveler.

Young Apostles robust showing in the first 10 minutes helped them to take the lead in the 7th minute through Ramzy Aboubakar, but a lack of quality in the last moments ensured the game went into closure with a 1-1 draw stalemate.

The tempo was clearly increased by both sides from the restart, but it was Young Apostles who finally broke the deadlock as Ramzy Aboubakar delightfully hit the ball home.

Vision FC attempted to push up the pitch in search of an equaliser in the following minutes, but that left gaps behind their defence, allowing Young Apostles to exploit them on the counter on numerous occasions, resulting in the visitors looking the more likely team to add to the scoring as the game progressed.

The Ewoo Boys pressed for an elusive equalizer as the game neared its end, which Young Apostles failed to hold firm as the visitors equalized through Emmanuel Atta Frimpong as the final whistle eventually went to ensure Nana Agyemang’s men took home one point.
