League leaders Bibiani Goldstars have maintained their unbeaten run to the season with yet another important 0-1 away win over giants Hearts of Oak in match-week 8 of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League.

Both teams approached the game with so much seriousness and dedication in search of nothing but all three points. 

Hamza Issah tried attacking the enemy territory for a possible opener but a strong tackle from Vincent Atinga rescued the situation for the visitors.

Bibiani Goldstars spent the last fifteen minutes of the first half defending very well to stop a hungry Hearts of Oak attack who made series of incursions. 

In the second half, the Miners returned looking more purposeful and took the lead in the 69th minute through Atta Kumi.

Six minutes later, the homesters were awarded a penalty to get back on level terms after Hussein Mohammed was brought down in the box.

Young sensation Hamza Issah stepped up and had his kick saved by goalkeeper Emmanuel Kobi as the scoreline stayed 0-1 in favour of the visitors until full time. 

Hearts of Oak have now dropped to the 12th position on the league log and will play as guests to Medeama SC next.

Bibiani Goldstars after securing their fifth win and are now three points adrift the top and will host Dreams FC in the next round of matches.
