FC Samartex survived a stirring Bechem United scare in Sunday afternoon's matchweek 31 clash to up their tally on the table.
The Timber Giants took total control against the Hunters, lying seventh in the Ghana Premier League, when the hosts scored in the 15th and 82nd minutes which gave them a 2-0 lead after 82 minutes.

Bechem United continued their improvement after the interval, getting their reward when defender Baba Abdulai scored on the turn after 86 minutes to force the game to end 2-1.
There was drama right to the end, as Bechem United crashed long-range efforts at the dying embers did not yield any results as Samartex win moved them to within six points of Asante Kotoko in fourth place, while Bechem downtrodd to 8th with this setback.
