FROM TUBA ASTROTURF - Dreams FC's best start to a league season continued with a 2-0 victory at home to Bibiani Gold Stars on Sunday afternoon.
Karim Zito's side climbed to the 8th position of the Ghana Premier League table with a rather routine win against the Miners.
Zito's men frustrated Gold Stars in the first half and were able to provide enough of a consistent threat and stopped the Miners to return to Western North without the points.
With 35 minutes on the clock, Dreams FC broke the deadlock. Abdul Razak Salifu dinked home with a neat swivel past Kobi.
Moments later, Dreams FC managed to squeeze in one last attack before the break as they added their second through defender Izdeen Mohammed.
A third Dreams FC goal went begging in the dying embers of the game but Gold Stars clipped off their wings. However, Dreams FC were ultimately able to preserve their 2-0 lead much to the jubilation of the buoyant home fans, who danced in the stands singing 'we are heading into the top four of the league'.
