Joseph Esso's second half penalty was enough to hand Dreams FC their first win of the season after pipping Medeama SC by 1-0 at the Tuba Astro Turf in Ghana Premier League match-week 10.
The 'Still Believe' lads geared into the game looking very desperate and also very optimistic of finally securing their first win while Medeama SC also set sights on ending their recent winless run.
It was somehow a balance encounter as the two teams took the game at each other strongly especially in the last twenty five minutes in search of the opener.
Both also made some dangerous goal attempts but all couldn't materialize as it finished goalless at half time.
In the second half, Dreams FC returned looking very strong but paving their way through the Medeama backline was their major problem.
In the 69th minute, the homesters were given a penalty. Joseph Esso stepped and sent the goalkeeper the wrong way to open the scoring account.
Derrick Fordjour came so close to getting the equalizer with just ten seconds to go after attempting to connect into the net from a close range but couldn't get there on time as ball rolled over for goal-kick.
It finished 1-0 after full time for Dreams FC - who have finally secured their first win of the season and will travel Vision FC next.
Medeama SC are currently winless in their last three games and will have to take on league leaders Bibiani Goldstars next to return on winning ways.
