Bechem United secured their second win of the 2024-25 Ghana Premier League season thanks to two superb goals from Darlvin Yeboah and Emmanuel Abban that allowed them to nip down Medeama and claim a 2-0 victory.
The Hunters took control from the first whistle and were quickly rewarded when Darlvin Yeboah opened the scoring in the 4th minute, poking home a wondrous shot of the game with a true striker's finish.
The goal appeared to spark the game into life, with both teams creating numerous goalscoring chances in the following 35 minutes, but the score line ultimately changed in the 43rd minute as Bechem United scored their second of the day to head into the break.
It was Bechem who started stronger in the second half, but their plan to make the goals rain did not materialize as their visitors held them at bay as they opened a ‘Bush-Fire-like’ approach.
The hosts maintained their momentum threatening the goal of Medeama on countless occasions but they just couldn’t score their third and dust off the game with a 3-0 victory.
The Yellow and Mauves grew into the game heading into the final moments, applying plenty of pressure on the Bechem defence in search of pulling a goal back, but the Hunters stood strong and took all three points.
