The Porcupine Warriors secured their fifth win of their last six matches in the Premier League by recording an emphatic home victory over Vision FC on Sunday afternoon.

Asante Kotoko kept dominating the game with several goal-glaring opportunities, but they failed to make them count by doubling their lead and got punished by a 21st-minute equalizer from Vision FC winger Nana Amoah.
Nine minutes later, Peter Amidu Acquah restored the lead for the home side with a fine strike before Kwame Opoku netted his second goal with a powerful header in the 36th minute of the game.

Opoku came close to registering his maiden hat trick for Asante Kotoko on the hour mark, but his effort went wide after going round the goalkeeper.
Despite the numerous chances created by Asante Kotoko, they failed to extend their lead as the match ended in a 4-1 victory to move them to third spot after matchday 17.
