It was a five-goal thriller at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Stadium as Vision FC scored late to edge Medeama SC by 3-2 in a very entertaining Ghana Premier League match-week 13 clash.

The homesters looked very motivated since the blast of the referee's whistle and opened the scoring account in just four minutes from kickoff through Joshua Kwame Rhule.

Medeama SC found their rhythm subsequently in the game and made some few goal attempts having made use of their flanks the most but were still unable to get the ball at the back of the hosts' net.

With few minutes to wrap up the first half, Vision FC who had held onto their early lead scored again courtesy Frank Duku to double their lead before half-time.

Back from recess, Medeama SC had a very rough return after being reduced to ten men in their quest to getting back on level pegging after Emmanuel Cudjoe was giving the matching orders in the 61st minute.

The homesters with an opportunity to move three-goals up after Edmond Asante was brought down in the box for penalty. Frank Duku stepped up in search for a brace but missed from 12-yards.

Fast-forward, the visitors pulled one back despite the numerical disadvantage through Osah Bernadinho Tetteh before Michael Sarpong also found the net with eight minutes to go to secure the much-awaited leveller.

In the dying embers of the game, substitute Kyei Baffour scored out of no where to restore Vision FC's lead as they finished the game with a precious 3-2 victory in full time.

The 'Ewuo Keke' outfit finally have won a game to end their seven-game winless run and will travel to Young Apostles FC in the next round of matches.

Definitely this is a heartbreaking loss for Medeama SC who have had their recent two-game winning run stopped and will seek redemption next week when they welcome Karela United.
