Legon Cities staged a fightback against Basake Holy Stars to record third victory of the ongoing season at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
The Royals continued their relegation threatened battle with a 2-1 comeback win over Holy Stars in the Ghana Premier League match-week 12 game on Sunday afternoon.
Basake Holy Stars took an early lead from the spot when Prince Opoku elected himself to brilliantly convert the spot-kick awarded to them in the 16th minute of the game.
However, coach Paa Kwesi Fabin's side regrouped after conceding to stage intense pressure on the visitors to concede two quick goals before the break.
Defender Frank Akoto levelled the score for Legon Cities with a brilliant strike in the 33th minute before Kojo Gyesi made it a 2-1 in the 36th minute of the game.
Legon Cities are still languishing at the bottom three with 11 points while Holy Stars drops to 13th position with 12 points after match-week eleven.
