Kamaradini Mamudu's lone goal was enough to give Medeama SC an important 0-1 away win over Legon Cities at the University of Ghana Stadium in Ghana Premier League match-day 2.
The Mauves and Yellows have their perfect start to the season intact after today's win having won their first game at home against Accra Lions.
The Royals made just a change this time bringing on Albert Yeboah to replace Nasiru Sumaila
On the opposition side, coach Nebojsa Kapor made only two changes from the team that started their first game introducing Prosper and Derrick Fordjour in the line up.
The game was a very balanced one in the opening minutes and the homesters made their dominance count having broke the deadlock on the 19th minute through center-back Kamaradini Mamudu.
In the second half, both teams returned on a blistering note and began to make some purposeful attacks but blasted all their efforts.
The Royals pressed so much subsequently and probed further for the equalizer but the Medeama backline were always solid to ensure they conceded no goal to preserve their lead.
It finished 0-1 for the visitors after full time. Legon Cities will play away to Vision FC, whiles Medeama SC will host champions FC Samartex in the next round of matches.
