Nations FC have opened a three-point lead at the summit of the league with an emphatic 3-0 win over FC Samartex in what was a very exciting clash at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex
The homesters started the game on a good game and made efforts right from onset making their intentions very clear for the opening game
They came up with series of chances in the first half but all proved futile as they were very indecisive in the final third
Back from recess, the Eagles returned on a good note and finally opened the scoring account in the 62nd minute through Emmanuel Annor
Faisal Charwetey doubled the lead from the spot in the 77th minute before Kelvin Ampoful sealed the win seven minutes later
It finished 3-0 for Nations FC who are now leading the table with 60 points and will face Basake Holy Stars next
