Nations FC have returned to the summit of the league table after a resounding 1-4 away win over Legon Cities in the last fixture of matchday 31 of the Ghana Premier League 

It was really an exciting encounter at the University of Ghana Stadium but it was the Eagles who prevailed with a huge win to deepen the woes of the Royals 

The first goal of the game was produced in the 27th minute courtesy Kelvin Ampoful who serged on to notch a brace in the game having scored in the dying embers to seal the win

Sadiq Alhassan also for the second consecutive time coupled with another from Emmanuel Annor. Legon Cities' consolation was an own goal by the visitors goalkeeper Rabin Sanon 

Kassim Mingle's men after today's win have returned to the top is the league table with 57 points and will host champions FC Samartex next 

Legon Cities after this win are very close to getting relegated as they currently sit in 17th position with 25 points
