Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Benjamin Asare has warned getting the club back to the top will be no quick fix as he called for patience from fans for next season.

This season Hearts of Oak have failed to perform to expectation, causing widespread dissatisfaction among its teeming followers.

The Phobians are currently 6th in the league standing with 49 points after 31 rounds of matches in the ongoing 2024/25 season.

Hearts of Oak will clash with Berekum Chelsea in their next league match on Sunday, May 18.

The Rainbow shirted lads stunned Berekum Chelsea 10 on Sunday at the Golden City Park, to end the Bibires ten-game unbeaten home run.

Speaking to Graphic Sports, Asare flipped open the club's desire to re-establish dominance domestically fueled by the team's recent uninspiring performance and desire to surpass their rivals, Asante Kotoko who are in line to, maybe, win the FA Cup and the Ghana Premier League title.

“We admit things didn’t go as we wanted, but we urge the fans to have faith in us," he pleaded.

"Next season, we will work hard to ensure the team improves."

Hearts of Oak will anticipate continuing their success when they play host to Accra Lions in Matchweek 32 fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, May 25
