Young Apostle are back in Premier League action on Sunday afternoon as they welcome Basake Holy Stars to the Wenchi Sports Stadium.

It's been a tough season at the Wenchi Sports Stadium for the topflight newbies, with the 'Agya Na ƆwƆ Tumi' Boys recording just eight wins, ten draws and twelve losses, demoralizing their chances of playing Premier League football next season as to judging with where they lurks on the table (14th with 34 points).

Match Preview

Apostles enter Sunday's game fourteenth in the Premier League table on thirty-four points and sixteen points clear of Heart of Lions in fourth.

Holy Stars, remarkably, are also hunting for a remedy which when they apply will enable them to retain their status as a Premier League side. Abdulai Gazale's Holy Stars has not enjoyed perhaps their most productive maiden season as on paper they are likely to be kicked out of the league through relegation.

Holy Stars have recorded just three wins, five losses in their last eight matches of the Premier League. They currently sit 12th in the table and keep slumbering into a heedless napping during matches.

Young Apostle possible starting lineup (4-2-3-1):

Masawudu (GK); Quansah (C), Abubakar, Amegbe, Issah, Kontor, Kyei, Prempeh, Rahman, Sakitey, Zakari

Basake Holy Stars possible starting lineup (3-4-2-1):

Tayi (GK); Boadi (C), Aboagye, Adjei, Asante, Ibrahim, Kwame, Oteng, Simba, Tweneboah, Yakubu

We say: Young Apostle 1-1 Basake Holy Stars

Both sides are in a state of tense anticipation, as their destiny lies in their own hands.

Meanwhile, there has been improvements since the takeover of Abdul Rahim Bashiru Tijani, but unfortunately he has left for Legon Cities - having been announced as the capital based side's new coach earlier this week.

Holy Stars are facing an Apostles team with an imperious defensive record at home, with Berekum Chelsea and Asante Kotoko among the teams they've recently shut out.

This Holy Stars outfit had struggled for goals before their previous three outings, and they're likely to huff and puff their way through Sunday's bout. We shouldn't expect too many thrills here, with the two sides playing out a fairly subdued low-scoring draw.

Kickoff for this match is scheduled at 15:00 GMT, on Sunday May 4.
