Head coach of Asante Kotoko, Abdul Karim Zito ahead of the Super-Clash, has stated playing against Hearts of Oak is always a hard nut to crack and knows this fixture wouldn't be an exception
The experienced gaffer was handed the role just recently as replacement for Prosper Narteh Ogum - who got jettisoned mainly for poor performance
He set off to a brighter start after successfully passing his first test with a precious 1-0 win over Aduana Stars to halt an appalling three-game winless run and his second happens to be against their bitter rivals tomorrow
Speaking in an interview ahead of the game, the former Black Satellites coach described Hearts of Oak as a very good side but haven't had luck on their side in certain games. He further admitted it won't be an easy game
“They are not a bad side, but sometimes a little bit of luck eluded them when they played,” he said. “I think it’s going to be a difficult game because Hearts and Kotoko are not like other clubs. On Sunday, it won’t be an easy game for both clubs.”
The second Super-Clash of the 2024/25 season is slated for Sunday, May 4, at the Ohene Gyan Stadium
