Match tickets for the highly anticipated 2024 Capital City Africa Cup between DC United and Asante Kotoko have been released.
The Ghanaian giants will face DC United in a prestigious international friendly on October 14, 2024, in Washington, D.C.
Organized by the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) in collaboration with the Ghana Football Association (GFA), this annual ceremonial match is part of the celebrations for Ghana Week DC 2024, scheduled from October 7-12, 2024.
The clash will be held at Audi Field, a state-of-the-art soccer-specific stadium located in Buzzard Point, Southwest Washington D.C. The match will spotlight Ghanaian culture and football heritage in the United States.
This will be the second time a Ghanaian Premier League club travels to the U.S. to face an MLS team, following Medeama SC's 2-1 loss to an MLS side in a similar friendly on October 14, 2023.
