Match-day 4 of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League will continue on Saturday, October 4, when All Blacks host champions Bibiani GoldStars at the Swedru Sports Stadium in what is expected to be a very cagey encounter.
Both teams haven’t really had a bad start to the new campaign and while All Blacks aims at continuing with their home invincibility, GoldStars will also like to prove they are the champions and will want to send signals that they just want the trophy again and nothing else.
MATCH PREVIEW
After giving away a goa lead to lose away at Nations FC on the opening day, did the same against Aduana Stars last week where they scored but conceded at the death painfully by 2-1 in Dormaa.
However, the ‘Ozii Ozawa’ lads are determined to turn their home venue where this game will be held into a fortress and are looking to make the champions their next victim having terrorized Berekum Chelsea by 3-0 in match-day 2.
On the other hand, as we head into the fourth round of games, GoldStars will be playing their second league fixture due to their continental campaign and edged Bechem United by 2-1 at home on the opening day.
However, the Miners failed to cruise into the final qualifying round of the CAF Champions League after a 7-0 on aggregate loss to Algerian side JS Kabylie.
After losing 2-0 in the first leg fixture on home soil which resulted in the jettisoning of head coach Frimpong Manso, they suffered another embarrassing 5-0 loss away against the Yellow Canaries - wrapping up their first ever campaign in a very appalling note.
TEAM NEWS
