Dreams FC will play at home for the first time this season when they welcome Hearts of Oak in the final game of Ghana Premier League match-day 2 at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Stadium on the afternoon of Monday, September 22.

The Still Believers after a sloppy start will be heading into the game in a very desperate mood as they look to chase their first season win having gotten the better of their opponents in recent times

The Rainbow Club also, will not only seek a win in this fixture but will rather want to end their recent winless run against Dreams - which has been on since 2022.

MATCH PREVIEW

Dreams FC after a remarkable pre-season where they stormed Samreboi to win the 2025 Nsenkyire Cup still suffered a defeat in their season opener last week.

It was honestly a very difficult and exciting game between them and Heart of Lions in Kpando but lost narrowly by a 1-0, courtesy Ebenezer Abban’s first half penalty.

David Ocloo and his men are very much determined and will look to stun them with their own former conjurer Suraj Seidu - who enjoyed an outstanding run in the off-season.

However, many believed Hearts of Oak were going to flex their muscles last week against Hohoe United but rather turned out to be something different after being held by the newbies to a goalless draw.

While the ‘Phobians’ will argue that they weren’t really clinical upfront and that prevented their win looking at some chances that fell on their path, they also had to rely on the brilliance of current Black Stars first choice Benjamin Asare who made some crucial stops notably denying Abass Ganiu with a big save in a very close range at half-time to avoid a defeat.

Mad-Ud Didi Dramani’s men are very much aware of how desperate their supporters need this win to revive hopes and will come under so much pressure if they fail to live up to the task this time around.

TEAM NEWS

None of the teams will have any notable absentee heading into the game with no any injury or suspension concerns and will have a full-strength squad from their last game.
