Aduana Stars came from two goals behind to secure a pulsating 2-2 draw against Young Apostles in an exciting match-day 16 clash at the Wenchi Sports Stadium. 

Both teams made a very sloppy start to the game especially in the early stages but the homesters finally settled down and delivered an impressive display to the big surprise of the league leaders 

Just on the stroke of half-time, Young Apostles broke the deadlock to send the whole of Wenchi into raptures thanks to a simple tap-in goal by Richmond Opoku to lead at half-time. 

In the early stages second half, the home team were awarded a penalty. Samuel Prempeh stepped up and slotted home neatly to double the lead. 

However, it didn’t take long for substitute Charles Gyamfi Camara to respond with a very good goal to start the fight back. 

In the closing moment of the game, Burkinabe international Daouda Ben Sidibé struck the precious goal after an incessant pressure to finally get Aduana Stars back on level as it finished in a 2-2 draw. 

Young Apostles after giving away the two-goal lead are still sitting ninth in the table with 21 points and will travel to FC Samartex next. 

Aduana Stars have also dropped to the third position after the draw with 29 points now will look to return into the title race as quick as possible when they host Vision FC next year.
