A brace from Emmanuel Abban helped Bechem United to record their second home win in the 2025-26 Ghana Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Bechem United have moved out of the relegation zone after securing a 2-0 victory over FC Samartex 1996 in their matchweek 10 fixture at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in Bechem.

The Hunters had a bright start with Abban opening the scoring with a fine strike in the 4th minute of the game.

FC Samartex came close through Emmanuel Mamah, but his effort was denied by the post in the 34th minute as they dominated the last ten minutes of the first half.

However, the visitors failed to make their chances count as it ended in a 1-0 victory for the hosts in the first department of the game.

After the break, Bechem United unleashed a different attacking and defensive approach to mount pressure on the visitors to concede the second goal.

Abban netted his second goal to seal their win at home with a superb tap-in goal from a low cross delivered by Okrah in the 84th minute of the game.

Despite the late attacks from FC Samartex, they failed to at least score a consolation goal as the match ended in a 2-0 win for Bechem United.
