The Porcupine Warriors shared spoils with Aduana FC in the all-important home fixture at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

Asante Kotoko had to make a comeback to secure a 1-1 draw with the Dormaa-based outfit in the Ghana Premier League match-week 10 fixture on Sunday.

Having recorded a draw with Vision FC in an outstanding fixture after a narrow win at Hearts of Oak, the Reds extended their unbeaten streak with a one-all draw with the league leaders.

Asante Kotoko were punished by the visitors with an early goal through in-form Emmanuel Marfo when he brilliantly scored from close range after goalkeeper Aziz Dari had failed to deal with Seidu Saana’s long-range drive in the 6th minute.

Aduana FC looked dangerous after taking the lead, with Hensen Amponsa and Seidu Sanaa making the back line of the home side deal with a lot of inroads before the half-hour mark.

The hosts took over possession after a tactical substitution was made by coach Karim Zito, which saw the introduction of Baba Yahaya as a replacement for Tenadu.

Yahaya made an instant impact, dazzling the defence of Aduana FC, which eventually gave them the leveller through Lord Amoah.

Amoah fired the equaliser with a powerful drive in the 43rd minute to end the first half in a one-all draw at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Asante Kotoko dominated the second period, but none of their efforts handed them the match-winner as the fixture ended in a thrilling stalemate.

Asante Kotoko will host Young Apostles FC in an outstanding game before they travel to Samreboi to face FC Samartex, while Aduana FC will take on Berekum Chelsea in a crucial match-week 11 game.
