Heart of Lions and Accra Hearts of Oak played out a pulsating 0-0 draw in an epic Ghana Premier League match-week 26 clash at the Kpando Sports Stadium.
It was a closely contested encounter with both sides struggling to create clear chances, resulting in a stalemate after 90 minutes of action.
The ‘Dzie Woa Nou’ lads enjoyed a larger share of possession and looked the more comfortable side on the ball, but failed to translate that dominance into real attacking threat, making only a few incursions on goal.
The Phobians, on the other hand, relied heavily on the flanks most at times in the game in search of goal but were equally blunt in attack, with the few chances that came their way resulting into nothing.
The result means the Giant Killers could not build on their previous victory and remain in 10th place on the table with 34 points. They will now shift focus to the next game away to Young Apostles FC in Wenchi.
The Rainbow Club have also extended their winless run to four matches, as they stay third on the table with 42 points. The Phobians will look to bounce back when they host Swedru All Blacks in their next fixture.
