Basake Holy Stars and Vision FC played out a thrilling 2-2 draw on Sunday afternoon at the AAK II Arena, with late drama ensuring both sides walked away with a point.

Holy Stars exploded into the match with an early opener in the 2nd minute through Prince Tweneboah, who made no mistake after a sharp attacking move. Vision FC, however, responded confidently and equalised in the 15th minute when Abdul Sumaila finished off a well-coordinated buildup to level the game at 1-1.

The second half remained tightly contested as both teams searched for control. Vision eventually took the lead and appeared on course for all three points, but Holy Stars refused to back down. Deep into added time, Bismark Teye struck a dramatic 90+6-minute equaliser to salvage a crucial point for the home side.

Despite the late rescue, Holy Stars remain in the relegation zone as their struggles with consistency continue. Vision FC, meanwhile, extend their unbeaten run to three matches and gain further traction in their mid-table push.

Holy Stars will face Karela United next in Tamale, while Vision FC prepare to host Heart of Lions in their upcoming fixture.
