Asante Kotoko beat Eleven Wonders 2-0 on Sunday afternoon in their Ghana Premier League matchweek 32 fixture at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The Porcupine Warriors were the better side for most of the game and scored once in each half to secure an important victory at home.

Attacker Lawson Kyei Manu opened the scoring in the 38th minute after Kotoko kept pressure on the visitors during the first half.

Eleven Wonders, who have already been relegated, found it difficult to stop Kotoko’s attacking play and went into halftime trailing 1-0.

Kotoko came back strongly after recess and scored their second goal in the 65th minute through substitute midfielder Anthony Kofi Duah.

The Porcupine Warriors continued to attack and looked for a third goal, but Eleven Wonders managed to avoid further damage as the match ended 2-0.

The win moves Asante Kotoko to seventh place on the league table with 46 points.

For Eleven Wonders, the defeat adds to a miserable return to the top flight. The Sure Wonders remain rooted to the bottom of the 18-team table in 18th position with just 10 points after another difficult afternoon away from home.
