Medeama SC have prevailed once again with their impressive run with a narrow 1-0 win over Hearts of Oak in match-day 17 at the TnA Stadium.
Both teams have started on a very good note with a very strong end to end action taking the game at each other in a very strong fashion
The homesters were on top and dominated most aspects of the game but weren’t clinical enough to hand the opener at half-time as it ended in a goalless draw.
On the other hand, the visitors felt they had make few attempts on goal due to some officiating calls that should have been in their corner but got overlooked by the referees.
In the second half, Medeama SC took off from where they finish with Kingsley Braye coming close but failed to make it count.
In the 64th minute, Fuzy Taylor came so close to finding the net but his incredible free-kick waa pushed away brilliantly by goalkeeper Solomon Agbasi.
However, the only goal of the game was finally produced in the 74th minute after Salim Adams received a good cut-back pass in the box and struck into the bottom left corner.
Medeama SC with this huge win to extend their unbeaten run to fourteen matches and are now two points clear at the top after the first round.
Hearts of Oak are also occupying the fifth position with 28 points
