Dreams FC head coach Winfred Dormon says he is pleased with his side’s response as they returned to winning ways with a 2–0 victory over Basake Holy Stars in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday, but admits there is still work to be done in attack.
Reflecting on the result in his post-match interview, Dormon praised his players’ attitude and mentality following their defeat against Bibiani Goldstars last week.
"On reflection, I’m a bit elevated because we came into this game on the backdrop of a painful defeat to Bibiani Goldstars. We approached this game with the correct attitude and mentality to make sure we collected the three points," he said.
While satisfied with the overall display, the Dreams FC gaffer stressed that his side must become more clinical around the box.
"Overall, it was a decent performance and a decent result, but we have a lot to correct in the final third," Dormon added.
The Matchweek 17 win lifts Dreams FC up to 12th place in the Premier League standings.
The Still Believe side will face Heart of Lions in their first fixture of the second round of the Ghanaian top-tier league.
