Medeama SC delivered a dominant performance to beat Asante Kotoko 4-0 at the TnA Stadium in their Ghana Premier League round 29 clash at the TnA Stadium.

The Mauve and Yellows made a bright start and took the lead in the 14th minute when Manuel Mantey’s effort took a deflection and found the back of the net.

The hosts doubled their advantage on the half-hour mark, with Kelvin Obeng rising highest to power home a header from a well-delivered free-kick by Fuzy Taylor.

Just four minutes later, Obeng turned provider, setting up Salim Adams at the far post for the third goal to cap off an impressive first-half display.

Medeama continued their dominance after the break, with Salim Adams grabbing his second of the game early in the second half to make it 4-0 and put the result beyond doubt.

The emphatic victory sees Medeama SC return to the top of the table with 53 points, and they will now turn attention to their FA Cup semi-final clash against Dreams FC on April 18.

For Asante Kotoko, the defeat extends their winless run and will host Hohoe United in their next league outing.
