Two goals in each half were enough to hand Nations FC a precious 0-2 away win over Eleven Wonders in match-week 24 opener at the University of Ghana Stadium.
The visitors made a very explosive start to the game having made some incursions in the early stages which eventually got them the opener in just five minutes into the game.
In the 21st minute, Desmond Tetteh came very close to leveling the score for the home team but his descent long range drive was parried away by goalkeeper Rabin Sanon.
The exchanges continued but wasn’t enough as the scoreline remained 0-1 after half-time.
In the second half, both teams returned on a higher note and gave left it all on the pitch with Eleven Wonders probing further for the equalizer.
Young Black Satellites defender Hamza Musah was excellent in defense, displayed a top-tier performance, was strong in the air and good on the ball as well with great vision.
In the closing moments, Emmanuel Annor sealed the win with a very good goal as it finished 0-2 in favour of the home side.
Nations FC are currently sitting in eighth place with 31 points after 24 matches and will host Bechem United in the next round of matches.
Eleven Wonders have their struggles deepen after the defeat as they remain in ninth place with just 9 points. They will travel to Dormaa to face Aduana FC in a herculean clash.
